3 Commended certificates in each category.

Plus being published in The Siriol Kate Anthology 2008

                

Categories             (a) Junior Short Story  12 to 17 years - Word Count 1000 - 3000 words: Fee $5

                                  (b) Junior Poetry          12 to 17 years – Max. 5 poems of 40 or less lines: Fee $5

                                  (c) Open   Short, Short Story all ages - Word count to 1000 words: Fee $10

                                  (d) Open  Short Story    all ages           - Word count 2000 - 5000 words: Fee $10

                                  (e) Open Poetry              all ages          - Max. 5 poems of 40 lines or less Fee $10

 

· You can enter as many times as you like but each entry must be accompanied by a separate entry form and the fee of $5.00 for Juniors and $10.00 for Open.

· Photocopies of the entry form are acceptable.

· Entries to be received by the 15th August, 2009.

· Bush Curlews claims the right to publish in our Anthology and future publications any winners, place-getters and commended stories.

· The author retains all other copyright.

· All entries are to be in triplicate

· The authors name is to appear only on the entry form: nowhere on or within the body of               the work.

· Typed on A4 white paper: 1.5 or Double line spaced with margins of no less than 2.5cm

· Each page to be numbered and titled.

· New poem to each page

· Each COPY to be accompanied by a Cover page stating Section, Category, Title and word (for stories)/line (for poems) count.(NOT the author’s name)

· Word and line max. counts are strict, no digression will be allowed.

· Entries not fitting the criteria will be discarded and no refund will be issued.

· Judges decisions will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

For judges comments send a S.S.A.E. of adequate size with each entry.
