About the Author
Rosa wrote her first poem in an effort to re-enforce the message of a portrait of an Indonesian woman she had done for her daughter, who had just returned from 12 months in Jakarta with Australian Aid Abroad. Her daughter was, in fact, born while Rosa and her then husband were on posting in Jakarta. So, you can see, the connection is strong.
Having found great joy and fulfillment in painting with words she has since immersed herself in the genre, won some prizes and has a number of other books in the pipeline. |
